Why do my files need to be print ready?

Obviously there are many versions of auto cad being used and to purchase each version would be expensive. To keep our costs down and pass the savings on to you, we ask that you make your files print ready. This means that your file will look the same on any computer.

We will accept files that are not print ready but output quality could suffer. DWG and DWX files will be more expensive to print. A cad file or word document, that looks good on your screen could look much different when it is printed. This is due to generic line weights, different fonts, missing xrefs, among other items.

Making your file print ready gives you the security of knowing what you see on your computer is what we will print. The preferred print ready format would be Adobe Acrobat (PDF) or TIFF. These will embed all your specifications. By making your files print ready, you will lower your costs and speed up delivery.
